Leonidas Thorson
Leonidas Thorson is the latest (and last) of my fonts with which I explored Nordic rune shapes (along with Latin Runes and Runelike). This time, as a result of my long-standing interest in the subject, the Latin script has a form inspired by both runes and ancient Greek script. The blend is subtle and was developed with as much care and design instinct as I could muster. The end result of my efforts are these nice and legible letters, which I think have their own unique character.
Version 1.0 of the font was developed at the very beginning of 2024. The free version is available here and at DaFont and contains 125 glyphs. I also offer an extended version of the font, which has 263 glyphs and goes with a fairly straightforward commercial license. You buy it, you can use it for whatever you want.
Please keep in mind that I am not a professional font designer, not even a hobbyist. It's just that sometimes I have a surge of creativity here and there, and that's it.
